YahwehDeHua (the app and this website) does not ask you to create an account and does not collect, store or sell personal information.
Your bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading position and settings stay on your own device. We never receive them.
The app works offline. When it is online it makes one request: it reads a public file (latest.json) to see whether a newer version exists. That request carries no account or personal data; as with any web request, the server that answers it can see an IP address.
Crash reports. If the app crashes, it can send the error to the maintainer by email so it can be fixed. A report contains the error and its stack trace, the app version, the platform, the interface language, which screen was open and the last few step names. It never contains what you were reading (no verse, search term, bookmark or note) and is not linked to you. You can turn this off in Settings, and then the app sends nothing.
The app contains no advertising, no usage analytics and no third-party trackers.
The website keeps only the ordinary server logs needed to run it.
